The Col du Galibier has an asphalted Pass road with many narrow Hairpins. In the upper section, there is no central reservation throughout and the road is very narrow in places. The gradient is steep in places, especially from the side of the Col du Lautaret. The curve radii are varied, from long to narrow, and the route is not always clear. For motorcyclists with less experience, this Mountain pass can be quite challenging. But the views are spectacular.
