About The Tours and the Makers

I’m Jonas! I first discovered my passion for motorcycling whilst serving in the Swiss Armed Forces, where I was a traffic soldier. Whether I’m drawn to a short evening ride up to the Zurich Oberland or a day trip to the Grisons, it doesn’t matter to me. The main thing is to ride. I’m not the sort of person who can just hop on my motorbike and set off without a plan; I like to plan my routes. When I searched for suggested routes on Google, I came across some good ideas. However, recreating them in Google Maps was quite a faff. So I needed a place where I could record, find and ride all my routes without too much hassle. That’s how The Tours came about.

I’m Äxel! And I love riding my motorbike! Unfortunately, as a dad to two young children, I don’t get to do it as much as I used to. I often take a detour on my way home from work – usually the same two or three routes – just to go for a quick spin. But the big weekend trips have become less frequent, so they need to be planned carefully.

When Jonas approached me with the idea for The Tours App, I was immediately hooked: joyrides in and around the canton of Zurich – how brilliant!

I’m Remo! I’m not really into motorbikes. To be honest, I’d struggle to get one running. What I am passionate about, though, are new ideas, great apps and people with vision. Jonas has completely won me over with his vision. I believe this app can offer real added value to the motorbike community. I’m delighted to have brought this project to life together with Jonas, Äxel and the team at Nueva, and I’m going to keep pushing full throttle to ensure it grows and thrives.

Professionally, I’m passionate about creating high-quality, entertaining and authentic content. That’s why I’m really excited to be working with the three founders to promote our motorbike app. When I first met Jonas, Äxel and Remo and learnt more about the app, I knew straight away: I want to be part of this. In my spare time, I love travelling and exploring the world. Who knows, maybe soon on a motorbike – we certainly have the perfect app for that ready and waiting.
