The Puerto de Haza del Lino offers a narrow, winding mountain road with a very varied Profile. The road is mostly without a central reservation, in many places only one lane can be used and, with its numerous tight Hairpins and small radii, requires a clean line and good sight lines. There are no crash barriers throughout. Exposed passages on the ridge can be susceptible to wind. The route is doable for beginners with respect and a defensive riding style, but it is really fun for experienced motorcyclists who love narrow Mountain roads and can turn the bike precisely. At the top, it's worth stopping at the Restaurant/Bodega Haza del Lino, which is a well-known biker hotspot.

The volume of traffic is usually low. However, the narrow road and limited passing places require constant attention to oncoming vehicles, especially in blind Curves.
