Zurich classic 2: Buechenegg and Albis Pass

Quickly scrape a few Curves on a mountain pass-like jaunt starting in the city of Zurich...

The roads and surfaces are new throughout and in top condition, mostly with central reservations.
The route starts at Triemli via Ueitikon into Reppischtal. For those interested in history: In Aumüli there is a historic mill in great condition, followed immediately by the Pass road over the Buechenegg - the section without a central reservation - and shortly afterwards the ascent to the Albis Pass. A great and winding combo that can keep up with any mountain pass. From Türlen via Kappel am Albis and Uerzlikon, things get more leisurely and the roads wind their way through the Knonaueramt and Jonental valleys in sweeping curves. The circular route leads through many small villages with beautiful old and well-kept timber-framed buildings and farms. The route then leads back to Triemli via Uetikon Waldegg and Albisrieden.
