Zurich classic 1: Buechenegg and Albis Pass
Route details
Quickly scrape a few Curves on a mountain pass-like joyride starting in the city of Zurich.
The roads and surfaces are new throughout and in top condition, mostly with central reservations.
The route starts at Triemli via Ueitikon into Reppischtal. For those interested in history: In Aumüli there is a historic mill in great condition. After Aumüli, the first section is the Pass road over the Buechenegg - the section without a central reservation - followed shortly afterwards by the ascent to the Albis Pass. A great and winding combo that can keep up with any mountain pass. From Türlen to Sihlbrugg, the ride becomes more leisurely, with sweeping curves winding through the Säuliamt. The sweeping views of Central Switzerland and the Alps are a real balm for the soul. From Sihlbrugg, the route continues through the Sihl valley on Main road no. 4 back into the city of Zurich to Triemli.
