Route details
This round trip in the Zurich Oberland offers plenty of variety.
The Tourer's starting point is in Hinwil. From there, the route leads through the forest on wide roads with a central reservation all the way up to the Atzmännig rope park. This is followed by a section of very narrow road without a central reservation, where it is almost impossible to cross. However, you will be rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view of Lake Zurich.
From Rüeterswil to the Ricken Pass, the road becomes a little wider again, but there is still no central reservation. From Ricken, the Tourer then continues on Main roads with a central reservation via Mosnang and Hulftegg back to Wald. The route is mostly winding, but also offers many leisurely and relaxed sections. Particularly pleasing: the road at Hulftegg was resurfaced in 2022, guaranteeing you a particularly smooth ride.
