Route details

A short and leisurely Tour through the Black Forest on Main roads, suitable for novice and leisurely riders

This short and leisurely motorcycle tour through the Black Forest is particularly suitable for beginners and Cruisers. The route starts and ends at Schluchsee and leads along the Bundesstrasse 317, first heading north around Lake Titisee before returning to Todtnau via the Feldberg Pass. There you can stop off at the biker-friendly "Lawine" inn, which also offers overnight accommodation. An additional stop at the most spectacular toboggan and coaster run in Germany in Todtnau is recommended for adventure-seekers. An absolute highlight for young and old.

The Tourer continues southwards on the Bundesstrasse 317, through Schönau in the Black Forest to Schopfnau and Bad Säckingen. From Bad Säckingen, the ride becomes more winding as you approach St. Blasien. From there, the main road 500 leads back to Schluchsee, where the wide roads are pleasant to ride on.

Along the route, there are numerous opportunities to experience the nature of the Black Forest and explore small villages. The Tour offers a good mix of relaxed riding and scenic beauty, ideal for motorcyclists who want to get to know the area.
