Route details

This Tour through the Black Forest offers winding valleys and leisurely cruising on overland roads.

The motorcycle tour starts in Eglisau and takes us first to Hüntwangen, where we cross the green border into Germany. From Schmerzen, we follow a narrow road without a central reservation along the fields to Untermettingen, where the first exciting descent begins. The Route alternates between overland roads and picturesque forests and valleys.

A refreshing stop is planned at the Wutachmühle kiosk in Wutach before continuing via Bräunlingen to Hammereisenbach and the impressive Linachtalsperre dam. It is worth making a short stop here to admire the fascinating structure, the construction of which is unique.

After another winding section, we reach Furtwangen and Schönwald in the Black Forest. The route now takes us south again, at the foot of the Kesselberg via Vöhrenbach down to Rötenbach. The roads here are wide and have long, sweeping curves.

Another winding section through Göschweiler and past the Schattenmühle inn finally leads us to Lauchringen. From here, the route continues to Günzgen and across the border back to Eglisau.
