Route details

From Wünnewil-Flamatt FR around the Gantrisch Nature Park and back over the Gurnigel Pass.

Tourer starts in Wünnewil-Flamatt at the Petrol station.
The route leads via Schmitten and Schwarzenburg to Riggisberg on well-maintained main and interurban roads. The roads are wide throughout and have a central reservation, which makes for a pleasant ride.

In Riggisberg, a small detour via Mühlethurnen and Seftigen provides a few additional Curves before the route continues via Riggisberg up to the Gurnigel Pass.

The Gurnigel Pass is one of the most popular motorcycle routes in the region. The ascent from Riggisberg to the watershed at the Pass summit is wide throughout and has a central reservation. On the descent towards Zollhaus, however, the road becomes narrower and runs without a central reservation. The numerous successive combinations of bends require an attentive and clean driving style.

Tip: The Untere Gantrischhütte on the Gurnigel Pass is a popular meeting point for motorcyclists. From the beginning of May to the end of September, the "Gurnigel Töff-Träff" takes place there every Tuesday from 17:30 - ideal for an exchange between like-minded people.

From Zollhaus, the route follows the Main road northwards to Guggisberg and with a few additional curves back to Schwarzenburg. From there, the route continues along well-maintained roads to the starting point in Wünnewil-Flamatt.
