After-work tour to the Isebähnli

Route details

This short after-work tour takes you along Main roads through the cantons of Solothurn and Basel-Landschaft, with a stop at the famous "Isebähnli" - THE bikers' meeting place.

I started in Breitenbach (canton of Solothurn). From there, I took the Main road via Nunningen over the Ächerlipass to Oberdorf and on to Känerkinden. There I turned right and rode over the Lower Hauenstein Mountain pass - not a technically demanding pass, but with some nice curves that are fun to ride. I made a short stop at the regional meeting point for all bikers.
Then I continued. After Olten, I followed Main road no. 5 towards Egerkingen, where I changed to the Upper Hauenstein Pass. This route impresses with its wide lanes and pleasant curves - perfect for a relaxed ride.
I reached Oberdorf via Langenbruck and continued the return journey towards Breitenbach. In Reigoldswil, however, I took a short detour via Ziefen to Bretzwil before heading back to Zullwil. To round things off, I treated myself to a well-earned coffee after work.
