The Tourer leads over 6 Jura passes - Weissenstein Pass, Pâturage Derrière, Col du Blochmont, Huggerwald, Le Sommet and Balmberg Pass - offering not only tight and narrow curves, but also first-class food.
This Tour is made for experienced motorcyclists who not only love tight and narrow Curves, but also have a soft spot for first-class food.
The route starts at the Petrol station in Solothurn Bellach and leads over the Weissenstein Pass to Crémines. The narrow Pass road is asphalted, has no central reservation and often lacks visibility in the Curves.
After driving through Crémines, there is another Pass summit over the small Pâturage Derrière pass in the Jura with a winding and narrow road. Lovers of hearty food should stop off at the Auberge de la Gabiare in Vermes, where a delicious charbonnade is served on a charcoal grill.
Those interested in culture should pay a visit to the exhibition museum "L'Arche de Noé, Christian Schneiter" in the neighboring village, where over 3,000 stuffed animals can be admired in their natural environment.
The journey continues on Main roads through Delsberg (Delemont) and Liesberg, before things get adventurous from Liesberg onwards. From here, the route leads to Kleinlützel via the very narrow and partly single-lane road over the Huggerwald Pass summit.
After a ride on the Main road to Les Forges, there is a Detour to France before the route leads over the small Blochmont Mountain pass - a paved road with a central reservation and long curves - to Hippoltskirch and through wooded areas to Winkel.
Back on Swiss territory, fish lovers can enjoy the famous "singing trout" at the Restaurant Noivar in Lucelle. The Restaurant is generally popular with bikers for a break.
The Tourer leads over the Le Sommet Pass - also a paved Pass road with a central reservation and long Curves - via Develier to Bassecourt and on through forest valleys along a beautiful river. Shortly after Undervelier, the BronzeArt Museum with its fascinating bronze figures is waiting to be explored.
The return route leads from Tavannes via Moutier back to Crémines, where another firework display of Curves awaits the riders. The route leads via Gänsbrunnen to Welschenrohr, from where steep and tight curves lead up to the Balmberg Pass summit. The lesser-known Balmberg road runs parallel to the Weissenstein pass road, which is narrow throughout and has no central reservation.
The Tourer finally ends in Solothurn, after a ride through Günsberg on the Main road.
Attention weekend and Winter closure: The Weissenstein Pass is closed at weekends and from November to April.
