Route details

A great Tour for experienced motorcyclists with the three winding Mountain passes Klausen - Ibergeregg - Satteleggpass.

Tourer starts in Rüti (ZH) and takes the Main road no. 17 via Glarus to Rüti (GL). There are plenty of places to refuel here if you run short of fuel. After the warm-up phase, the Curves really get going after Rüti (GL): the Klausen Pass, which is not easy to ride, turns in all directions and impresses with beautiful views (see photos). Some of the roads are narrow and without a central reservation and the surface varies from very bumpy to very good, there is even a cobblestone bend. After the Klausen Pass, the route follows the Axenstrasse, which offers a short breather with a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. In Schwyz, the route heads uphill again via Ibergeregg towards Lake Sihl. The Ibergeregg has well-built, narrow roads without a central reservation and is not quite as demanding as the Klausen Pass. After crossing the pass, Oberiberg's Rest. Musfalle offers a good opportunity for a break: the food there is great.
The route then continues past the Sihlsee lake over the Sattelegg back to Rüti (ZH). The Sattelegg Mountain pass is very winding, the road rather narrow and without a central reservation throughout.
