Route details

Through the Black Forest and over the 3 Mountain passes Notschreipass, Feldbergpass and Thurnerpass past the lakes Kirbergsee and Schluchsee. Don't forget your swimming trunks/bikini.

Our starting point for this exciting Tourer is Birkendorf, where we cross the impressive Steinatal valley right at the beginning. This route is particularly popular with motorcyclists and promises a dynamic start on wide roads with a central reservation.

A rewarding loop awaits you in Bonndorf, which leads us via Münchingen, Grimmelshofen and Blumberg along the idyllic Wutach and through Ewattingen back to Bonndorf. The narrow road from Bonndorf leads us into the impressive Wutach Gorge. On the way to Löffingen, we pass the Kirnbergsee lake, which is the first opportunity for a refreshing swim.

Our route leads through wooded sections, and after Hammereisenbach we enter the rustic Urachtal valley. Via Thurner, we finally reach Kirchzarten via the Sprizenpass. The ride continues via Oberried and the Notschreipass (1100m) to Todtnau, from where a breathtaking descent at 1400m over the Feldbergpass to Altglashütten awaits us. All roads with a central reservation. Here, at the Windgfällweiher pond, there is a hidden natural swimming pool that impresses with its peaceful location. Shortly afterwards, we reach the Schluchsee, which offers another opportunity for a refreshing swim.

Tourer continues towards Seebrugg, where we leave the busy road and it becomes a little narrower. Via Rothaus and Grafenhausen, the route finally takes us back to Birkendorf at the end of the Tourer. This motorcycle tour promises not only beautiful landscapes and winding roads, but also refreshing swimming spots along the way.
