Route details

From Gstaad over 2 Mountain passes to Lake Geneva and through the vineyards back to Gstaad.

This Tourer starts in Saanen and offers a wonderful view of Gstaad and Saanen airport right from the start. From here, the route leads to Gstaad, where you have the option of riding through the charming village or taking the bypass.

From Gstaad, the route is initially flat as far as Gsteig. From Gsteig, the ascent to the Col du Pillon begins. Although there is no central reservation, the Pass road is wide. Once at the top, a Detour to Glacier 3000 is worthwhile for those who have planned enough time before the Tourer continues to Les Diablerets.

In Les Diablerets, you leave the Main road and take the less busy Col de la Croix. Although this road is somewhat narrower and bumpier, it has a central reservation and you are rewarded with an exceptional view. The route then descends to Villars-sur-Ollon, a picturesque village with a magnificent view of the Vaud Chablais.

From Villars-sur-Ollon, the Route continues along the Main road to Lake Geneva. Although the lakeside road is busy, there are many attractions to discover along the way, such as Chillon Castle or the town of Montreux. In summer, there is also the opportunity to park the bike for a short while and enjoy a refreshing dip in Lake Geneva.

In Montreux, the Tourer leaves the lake and takes the Main road towards Châtel-Saint-Denis before continuing on to Lake Gruyère. The lake is crossed at the Pont de Corières, from where you have a fantastic view of both sides of the lake.

The final section of the Tourer takes you through the Gruyère district, past Gruyère Castle, before the route leads back to Saanen and the starting point at Saanen Airport.

This Tourer combines breathtaking views, charming villages and cultural highlights - an ideal Route for motorcyclists who want to enjoy the beauty of the region to the full.
