Route details

The two-pass round trip around the Fürstein via the Glaubenberg Pass and Glaubenbielen Pass.

A short but challenging route with roads without central reservations. Some of the roads are very narrow and the curves are tight.
The start is in Entlebuch, from there it goes up to the Glaubenberg Pass. The road has no central reservation up to the Pass summit and is somewhat narrow in places. After the Pass summit on the Canton of Obwalden side, the road has a central reservation throughout. Shortly before Sarnen, the "Endlosen" road leads down to the Main road, another narrow route without a central reservation.

The route then follows the Main road along Lake Sarnen to Giswil. This is the start of the ascent to the Glaubenbielen Pass, better known as the Scenic route. The Scenic route also has no central reservation and is narrow in places.

After the Pass summit, however, the route descends the mountain again on roads with a central reservation. The curves on the descent are pleasant to ride and rarely turn sharply.

The Pass road ends in Schüpfheim and the route then follows the Main road back towards Entlebuch.
